The following documents are necessary to apply for the Identity Verification Certificate:

• Copy of a close relative’s Tazkira: The applicant must provide a copy of a Tazkira belonging to a close relative, such as a father, brother, paternal grandfather, uncle, or cousin (paternal side).
• Residence Document in Sweden or Finland: The applicant must provide a copy of their Swedish or Finnish identity card showing their name and other details.
• Supporting Documents: The applicant must submit previous documents issued by Afghan authorities, such as an electronic or handwritten passport, diploma, voter registration card, military card, educational documents, etc. If born in Iran or Pakistan, they must provide refugee documents from these countries, such as an Amayesh card and a birth certificate issued by Iranian authorities or a refugee card issued by Pakistan, to the consular section to facilitate identity verification and confirmation.
• Two Passport-Sized Photos: The applicant must provide two recently taken photos with a white background.
