Confirmation of No Passport issuance

Information on obtaining Confirmation of No Passport Issuance.

Due to the recent political changes in the country , the issuance of new passports by the Embassy of Afghanistan in Stockholm has been suspended until further notice.

Applicants who possess valid Afghan Tazkiras and meet the requirements for obtaining a new passport but the Embassy cannot process their passport applications due to the aforementioned issue, can apply for this confirmation letter at this mission.

Required Documents
  1. Completed Online Application Form: Complete the form online. Ensure that the confirmation code or number is ready. Access the application form [here].
  2. Proof of Afghan Citizenship: Ensure that both sides of the applicant’s Tazkira and Swedish or Finnish residence card are clearly and legibly uploaded during the online application process.
  3. Children Born to Afghan Parents in Sweden or Finland: Must provide their birth certificate along with the Tazkiras of their parents.
  4. Proof of Residence in Sweden or Finland: Ensure that both sides of the applicant’s Swedish or Finnish personal identity card are clearly and legibly uploaded during the online application process.
  5. Fee: The fee for issuing the confirmation of non-issuance of a passport is 550 SEK or 50 Euros.
Submission Options
  • In Person:
    Submit your application during working hours. Payment can only be made via a bank card at the mission.
  • Online:
    If submitting your application online, please ensure that the following documents are sent along with the tracking number and the recipient’s signature to the address provided below:
  • Confirmation code
  • A copy of the applicant’s Tazkira and residence permit
  • Original receipt for the payment of 550 SEK or 50 Euros, which has been transferred to the bank account of this mission as per the address provided below.
