In mourning for the victims of the recent earthquake in the southeastern provinces of Afghanistan, the flag of Afghanistan has been lowered to half-mast at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Stockholm.

As decided by the Coordination Council of Afghanistan’s Diplomatic and Consular missions, an online book of condolences has been opened. Afghans and friends of Afghanistan are kindly invited to share their messages of sympathy at the following email address:

The Embassy extends its heartfelt appreciation to all those who have joined in mourning this national tragedy and who stand with the people of Afghanistan during this difficult time.
